Friends sessions, the way the trip felt.

Friends getaways, yacht days, birthday weekends, group adventures, destination gatherings and beach parties - vacation memories with the people you love, across the Riviera Maya and beyond. Editorial, never stiff.

Friends sessions are the loosest, most joyful work I do. They cover everything a group of friends comes to the Riviera Maya for: a villa weekend, a catamaran day on the water, a birthday on the sand, a girls trip, a reunion of people who do not get to be in the same place often. The brief is always the same - capture the togetherness honestly, so the gallery feels like the trip rather than a set of posed group shots.

How a friends session works. We start by finding the moment in your itinerary that deserves a camera - usually a yacht day, a golden-hour beach hour, or the evening of a birthday. I shoot it documentary first: the toasts, the swims, the in-jokes, the small moments between people. Then I add a handful of guided group portraits so everyone has a clean frame they love. The whole thing stays editorial and easy, never stiff, because a friends trip photographed like a corporate headshot misses the entire point.

Yacht and catamaran days. These are one of my favourite friends formats, and the Riviera Maya is built for them. I shoot the full day - the sail out from Cancún or Playa, the swim stops, the sandbar near Isla Mujeres or Cozumel, the way the afternoon light sits on the water. If you are planning a boat day, see yacht days for how that coverage runs.

Where friends sessions happen. The beach at golden hour, a catamaran on the open water, a villa terrace at sunset, a beach club in Playa del Carmen or Tulum - wherever your group is, that is where we shoot. I photograph friends groups across the Riviera Maya and travel further afield through worldwide sessions.

What you receive. A private gallery the whole group can view and download in full resolution within days, then the edited high-resolution collection within two to three weeks. An optional short film of the trip is available. If your group is a pre-wedding party, you may want bachelorette celebrations; for a birthday or milestone, see special celebrations; and for the family side of a trip, family sessions.

If you are bringing your people to the Riviera Maya, tell me the trip - the dates, the group, the one day that matters most - and I will build editorial coverage that feels exactly like the holiday felt.

Frequently asked

Frequently asked

Can you photograph a yacht or catamaran day?

Yes - yacht and catamaran days are one of my favourite friends formats. I shoot the whole day editorially: the sail out, the swim stops, the sandbar, the way the light sits on the water in the afternoon. Tell me the route and I will build the coverage around it.

We are a big group - does that work?

Completely. I shoot a mix of the whole group together and smaller breakaway moments. Big groups actually photograph well on the beach and on a boat because there is room for everyone to spread out and be themselves.

Is it just posed group shots?

No - mostly the opposite. The session is documentary first: the toasts, the laughing, the swims, the small moments between people. I add a handful of guided group portraits so everyone has a clean frame, but the heart of the gallery is the trip as it really felt.

How do we share the photos?

Everyone gets the same private gallery link, so the whole group can view and download in full resolution. It makes splitting the cost among friends simple.

Two artistic languages

Timeless · Cinematic

Two distinct visual languages - choose the one that feels like the memory you want to keep.

Timeless visual language - clean, editorial photograph

Timeless

Elegant. Clean. Naturally lit. Lightly editorial. Polished storytelling with classic emotional imagery - the photographs you’ll print and frame.

Cinematic visual language - film-inspired, atmospheric photograph

Cinematic

Film-inspired. Immersive. Grain, movement, dramatic light. Imperfect moments and atmospheric framing - memories that feel like a film.

Let's make a few frames you'll keep on the wall.
