How a celebration session works. We start with the heart of the occasion - the dinner, the cake, the toast, the morning everyone is together - and build a loose plan around the light. I shoot documentary first: the speeches, the dancing, the small moments between people. Then I add a few guided group portraits so the gallery has its hero frames and nobody is missing from the record. The whole thing stays warm and editorial, never stiff, so even the camera-shy relatives end up enjoying it.
Where celebrations happen here. The beach at golden hour is the classic, but a villa terrace, a restaurant you have booked, or a beach club all work beautifully. Evening and candlelit celebrations photograph well too - I bring the right lighting so the gallery keeps the warmth of the room.
